The teenagers at the Kids First Vietnam Village are excited about the construction of a dormitory that will allow them to live at the Village where they go to school and receive skill training instead of living in their orphanages and traveling to the Village every day. $100,000 of the cost of this dorm construction project is being donated by Childvision. At Kids First Vietnam, older children who are orphans or from very poor local families receive the medical attention and rehabilitation needed to improve their health and are enrolled in an educational/career training program where they learn marketable job skills that will allow them to be self-supporting as adults. Childvision funds projects like this in underserved countries to help teens transition successfully from orphanages to adulthood.
