The war on gangs, drugs, crime and terror simply is not working, although we have successfully created a battlefield in our homes. Every year tens of thousands of families will be torn apart and their children thrust into the fear and chaos of horrifying parental conflict. Without both parents acting to provide a stable, supportive family life to nurture and guide our youth, is it any wonder many of these children will become troubled souls adding to the growing ranks of nearly 800,000 violent street gang members in search of a family . The Children's Rights Council (CRC) serves as a guardian and protector of parental rights and responsibilities to help restore a productive peace and pursuit of happiness for separated families. Whether in providing a Safe Haven Child Access Center in the community; or working with Congress on issues of joint custody; or liberating families with legal/parenting education; CRC directly bridges the gaps between parents, courts and systems - often in dispute with one another. Caught up in these battles, children can easily lose their way. Some will even give up on the value of family and life altogether. CRC doesn't fight a war on behalf of either parent, but instead works to preserve a future heritage that will keep this Nation great.
